Our Story

We Believe in Liberian Youth

Founded in Monrovia in 2019, Youth Liberia was born from a simple conviction: that every young Liberian deserves a real chance — not charity, but opportunity.

Our Mission

To inspire and equip every young Liberian to build a sustainable livelihood.

Youth unemployment in Liberia sits above 60%. Youth Liberia exists to change that number — not through handouts, but through skills, capital, and connections that create lasting economic independence.

Our Vision

A Liberia where every young person has the tools to build the future they deserve.

2030

Target: 10,000 Youth Empowered

Our Values

Empowerment Over Dependency

We build capacity, not reliance. Every program is designed to make youth self-sufficient within 12 months of graduation.

Radical Inclusion

Rural, urban, formal education or not — Youth Liberia programs are designed for every young Liberian, not just those who already have access.

Results, Not Promises

We measure success by job placement rates, loan repayment, and business survival — not the number of workshops held.

Community-First

Our alumni network is our greatest asset. Youth Liberia graduates mentor the next cohort — creating a cycle of upliftment.

Leadership

The People Behind the Mission
